Notes on handling
1. When shipping the player, the original shipping carton and packing materials should always be used. For maximum
protection, repackage the unit as it was originally packed at the factory.
2. Do not use volatile liquids, such as insect spray, near the player for a long time. They will leave marks on the finish and
may damage the player.

become poor and the sound may become
distorted if the other units are not properly shielded. In this case, place the player away from the TV, radio, or VCR.
Notes on cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. For stubborn dirt, soak the cloth in a weak detergent solution, wring well and wipe. Use a

electronics of the player.
Lens warning
Cleaning and adjustment of the lens or other components should only be done by a qualified technician.
To obtain a clear picture
The player is a high technology, precision driven device. If the optical lens and drive parts are dirty or worn down, the
picture quality may become poor. To obtain a clear picture, we recommend regular inspection and maintenance
(cleaning or parts replacement) every 1,000 hours of use.
If the player doesn’t operate normally by following the operating instructions, adjust only those controls that are covered
by the operating instructions. Improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive
