3. Let someone grab the track firmly on each side and push hard two or three times.
NOTE
The tape should slide.
4. Note the new number where your thumb rests and subtract from the first number to get the current deflection value.
To obtain a deflection as per the number in Table A.To check if the track tension is adequate, proceed with next
steps to apply a force as per Table A.
5. Loosen the tensioner plate bolts (2) on both sides of frame.
6. Loosen the adjustment bolt stop nuts.
7. Adjust track tension using the adjustment bolt (1) until the track has the correct tension.
NOTE
Use the tensioners on each side of the frame to adjust tension. Loosen or tighten the adjustment bolt by increments
of 3 to 6 mm (1/8 to 1/4 in).
8. Tighten the adjustment bolt stop nut.
9. Tighten the tensioner plate bolts (2).
10. Repeat previous steps for each track.
