Before aligning the X-axis, check that the following

screw connections are not yet tight, but only slightly

counter-tightened:

Connections portal beam / portal cheeks

• If necessary, loosen screw connections and

tighten slightly.

• Move the portal several times from one end of

the base frame to the other end while gradually

tightening the screws. The order is the same as

for the loose check:

• Check whether the portal can be moved easily

over the entire travel path after tightening all

screws.

• Press the cover caps onto the angles.

that it faces the opening in the gantry beam (red

arrows in Figure 13).

• Screw the recirculating ball nut
