1. OUTLINE
By using test mode, operation check for EQ switch, audio output
check and software version check can be performed.
Note:
Before returning the DSP unit to customer, return the EQ and IN-
PUT SELECT setting to customer’s original setting state.

2. FUNCTION OF TEST MODE
The following operation becomes possible in test mode.
• The EQ setting is

xed, and the setting of ALO is

xed
off.
• MIN/MAX of the sound setting can con

rm it by sliding the
switch.
• The software version can be con
fi
rmed.
3. ENTERING TEST MODE
Procedure:
1. Connect 14 pin of battery harness or jig-land (JL114) on DSP
board (conductor side) to GND, then press [RESET] button.

2. Make sure that the [SOURCE] indicator LED is lit violet color
for 3 seconds, it means that test mode turns on.

Turn the power off.

Note:
Test mode of XDP-MU100 has been described in this sec-
tion. Test mode doesn’t exist in XA-C100IP.
4. SOUND TEST VIA SWITCH
Fader, SubVolume, Balance can be changed by EQ setting switch
in test mode (Refer to table for details).
