
CCD Characteristics
The following conditions that may be observed during the
use of a CCD video camera are not associated with any
fault of the camera.
Smearing
The picture may be smeared when a very bright object is
shot.
Pale stripe
(smear)
Videomonitor
screen
Very bright
object
(such as an
electric lamp,
florescent
lamp, sunlight,
or strong
reflected light)
Patterned noise
This may appear over the entire monitor screen when the
camera is operated at a high temperature.
Jagged picture
When stripes, straight lines, or the like are shot, the image
monitored on the screen may appear jagged.
