Attaching the Lens
Notes
• You can mount a C-mount auto-iris lens, as long as it
does not project more than 4.1 mm from the lens mount
shoulder.
• The VCL-7S12XEA does not require a C-mount
adaptor.
Make this connection after replacing the lens cable plug with
the PC-XC03 auto iris lens plug (not supplied). For details of
the cable connection to the 3-pin plug, see the next page.

Connect the plug to the lens

Screw the C-mount adaptor into the lens mount of the camera.
(only when using a C-mount lens).
• The plug is very small and fragile. Take special care
when handling it.
• Do not pull the lens cord connected to the lens adaptor.
If you do, the plug or camera lens connector may be
damaged.
