Operation Panel (Front)

Power switch
To turn the power of this unit ON/OFF.

STREAM indicators
When a proper input signal is supplied, the corresponding
lamp lights.
IN:
When a proper input signal is connected to the INT IF
line (internal), STREAM EXT IN connector 1, or
STREAM EXT IN connector 2 on the rear, the
corresponding lamp lights.
OUT:
The lamp for the stream being selected by the built-
in stream selector lights.
The stream selector is set to AUTO at the factory, but
it is also possible to choose INT, EXT1, or EXT2 by a
menu operation.

SYSTEM indicator
The lamp lights when the down-converter is connected.

ALARM indicator
The lamp flashes to warn you of an exceptional condition
such as when the down-converter is not connected or
demodulation cannot be performed.

page 14.

Liquid-crystal display
Displays various information, such as the receiving
statuses, setting menus, and alarm messages.
When you turn on the power of this unit, CPU initialization
begins, and the initialization message appears.
When the initialization ends, the LCD changes to the status
indications.
Status indications
You can turn the backlight using the menu ON/OFF.
For details, see “Menu Settings” on page 13.

Cursor keys
Move the cursor on the menus displayed on the LCD.

To register the menu settings.
