Menu Settings

Menu Settings

You can obtain information and perform various settings 
using menus on the LCD.
Some of the menu items have submenus.  The menu 
settings are maintained even if you turn the unit off.

Menu Items

RF Center Freq.:

  To set the center receiving frequency 

(default: 2442 MHz).  It can be selected in the range of 
2406 to 2478 MHz in 1-MHz or 12-MHz steps.  Set it 
according to the transmitting frequency of the WLL-
CA50 used in combination.

Viterbi Bit Error:

 The bit error rate of the receiving 

signal is displayed.  No setting is made with this item.

LCD Backlight:

 Turn the backlight of the LCD ON/OFF 

(default: ON). 

Descramble:

 To set the 3-digit descramble code (default: 

AAA).
The left two digits can be capital letters, the right one 
digit can be a capital letter or a number (0 to 9).  Set  
the same as the Scramble code of the WLL-CA50 
transmitter to be used in combination.

Stream Sel:

 To set the operating mode of the stream 

selector  (default: Auto). 
Set it to Auto to automatically select an input of the 
best condition for output.  When you want to select a 
certain input reqardless of the condition, select Int 
(internal), ext1 (external stream input 1), or ext2 
(external stream input 2). 

Setting the Menu Items

Press the MENU key.

The unit enters Menu Item Selection mode, and two 
items of the Main Menu are displayed on the LCD.

Press a cursor key to move the cursor (

>

) to the item 

to be set.

Pressing the down-arrow cursor key moves the cursor 
downwards, and pressing the up-arrow cursor key 
moves it upward, scrolling the display.

Press the ENTER key.

The unit enters Setting mode of the selected menu 
item.

When the selected menu item includes multiple 
setting items or digits, press the right- or left-arrow 
cursor key to select the items or digits to be set.

The selected item (digit) flashes.

Example:

Press the down-arrow or up-arrow cursor key to 
display the desired value.

Each time you press the key, the value changes in 
sequence.
