Connecting an External Display

To connect a computer display or a projector

!

The monitor port on your computer is not accessible when the computer is attached to the docking station.

The 

HDMI

 output port on your computer and the 

DVI-D

 port on the docking station are functional only while your computer is in SPEED mode.

If you connect an HDMI cable to the 

HDMI

 output port on your computer or a display cable to the 

DVI-D

 port on the docking station while your computer 

is in STAMINA mode, a confirmation window appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to change the performance mode to SPEED mode.

Plug the power cord (1) of your external display or the projector into the AC outlet.

2

Connect the external display or the projector to the monitor port (2) on the computer or the docking station with a display 
cable (3).
