To remove a PC card (on Windows
®
2000 Professional systems)
Follow the steps below to remove a PC card while your computer is on. If the PC card
is not properly removed, your system may malfunction. When your computer is off,
skip the steps 1 to 6.

Click the Start button on the Windows
®
taskbar, point to Settings, then click
Control Panel.

Double-click Add/Remove Hardware.

Click Next, click Uninstall/Unplug a device, and then click Next.

Select the name of the appropriate PC card in the list, and then click Next.

Click Next to confirm that you want to unplug the PC card.

Click Finish.
7
Press the PC card release button.

Gently grasp the card and pull it out.
