Connecting a Floppy Disk Drive

You can connect an optional floppy disk drive to the USB

port on your

computer.

To connect the floppy disk drive

Plug the USB cable from the floppy disk drive into the USB

port on the

computer. The VAIO® logo on the disk drive should be facing up.

To insert a floppy disk

Hold the floppy disk with the label side facing up.

Gently push the floppy disk into the drive until it clicks into place.

You do not need to turn off the computer to connect or disconnect the floppy disk
drive.
