Charging the Battery Pack

The NP-F550 lithium-ion battery installed in the camera is rechargeable.
It is recommended to charge the battery when the battery indicator on the
operation display shows that it is not full.

Attach the camera to the station.

2

Set the POWER switch on the camera to OFF.

3

Press the BATTERY CHARGE button on the station.

Charging will begin, and CHARGING appears on the liquid-crystal
display of the station.

When finished charging

The battery will be almost fully charged in half a day.  The message
“NOW CHARGING” may remain on the LCD of the station, but it is not a
problem.  Disconnect the camera from the station by sliding the CAMERA
RELEASE lever to the left.
