To perform rough adjustment
To perform color balance adjustment beyond the
current color balance range, increase the value of
BAL STEP.

Make a test print by repeating steps 2, 3 and 4 in
“Adjusting the Color Balance” on page 57.

Select the image with the best color balance among
the 9 images, if you can decide.
If there is not the image with the best color balance,
repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have obtained the best
color balance.

Making Various Settings
Assigning Functions to the Remote
Control Unit
You can control a printer using the RM-91 Remote
Control Unit (not supplied) or FS-24 Foot Switch (not
supplied) connected to the REMOTE 2 connector on the
rear panel of the printer.
Using the menu, you can assign the desired functions to
the remote control unit connected to the REMOTE 2
connector.
In addition, the printer can be remotely controlled by a
pulse signal input to REMOTE 2. (See page 66.)
Also, you can control the printer using a personal
computer.

Display the FUNCTION SETUP menu from the
PRINTER SETUP menu.

Select the desired RM 2 FUNC item, then assign a
function.
If you change BAL STEP from 05 to 10, the color
balances of the test print are changed as illustrated.
