CHIPS Stand-Alone Integrator Installation Training (CHIPS)

6.3 UPS

Configuration



Connect the serial to Ethernet cable from the TMS Server Serial Port to the

UPS Configuration Ethernet Port.



Open

TeraTerm



Select Serial Port COM1



Press

“Enter”



Password:

admin



Follow onscreen instructions and change UPS IP using the predefined IP

Schema.



Navigate to C:\CHIPS Utilities\Eaton Powerware Netwatch\Windows



Run the installer and select remove all installed components



Re-run the installer and install with default options



Choose Manual Discovery and enter the IP address of the UPS



Choose Default options and finish installation



Check PowerWare Netwatch Service is started
