6.2 Switch
Configuration
The switch provided with the TMS is not configured.
To configure the Switch IP Address
Using a Serial to Ethernet cable (provided with Switch) connect the TMS serial
port (9-pin D-sub Green male port in the back of the TMS server) to the switch
configuration Ethernet port (the Ethernet port named 10101 on the front right
of the switch).
On TMS Server go to Start Menu > All Programs > Teraterm
Select Serial Port COM1
When the TeraTerm window appears press enter and “console>” should
appear
Enter the following commands:
o
Enable (To enable advanced commands)
o
Delete
startup-config
o
Y (to confirm the deletion)
o
Reload (to restart the switch)
o
Y (to confirm restart)
The switch will now restart, during the restart sequence the Easy Startup
sequence will appear press Y to enter
