BLUETOOTH CONNECTION CHECKING METHOD
When checking the BLUETOOTH connection of the wireless speak-
er, refer to the following.
Note 1:
If you are connected to a BLUETOOTH, be sure to initialize the
wireless speaker by referring to “INITIALIZATION METHOD”
on page 14 after completing the work.
Note 2:
360 Reality Audio cannot be playback via a BLUETOOTH con-
nection. To playback 360 Reality Audio, refer to “MUSIC PLAY-
BACK COMPATIBLE WITH 360 REALITY AUDIO” on page 17.

Check the following contents before starting work.
• Place a BLUETOOTH device such as a smartphone within 1 m
from the wireless speaker.
• Connect the AC adaptor to the wireless speaker and connect it to
the AC outlet.
• Stop playback of BLUETOOTH device such as smartphone, or
set the volume of the BLUETOOTH device and wireless speak-
er to the minimum.
Connection procedure:
1. Turn on the BLUETOOTH function of BLUETOOTH device
such as smartphone.
Note 3:
For how to operate the BLUETOOTH device, refer to the instruc-
tion manual of the BLUETOOTH device.

on the power.

PAIRING] button of the wireless speak-
er for more than about 2 seconds to enter BLUETOOTH pairing
mode, and check that the [ ] indicator

ashes quickly.
Note 4:
If the [ ] indicator does not

ash, the wireless speaker may already
be connected to other BLUETOOTH device. In this case, turn off
the power of the wireless speaker, and then perform the operation
from step 1 again.

4. Perform pairing operation with a BLUETOOTH device such as a
smartphone, detect this wireless speaker, and tap “SRS-RA5000”.
Note 5:
If you registered a name for the wireless speaker when connecting
to a Wi-Fi network, the registered name will be displayed instead of
the model name (SRS-RA5000).
Note 6:
If passkey input is required on the BLUETOOTH device, input
“0000”.

5. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen of a BLUETOOTH
device such as a smartphone to establish a BLUETOOTH connec-
tion.
Note 7:
When the BLUETOOTH connection is established, the wireless
speaker output a beep sound and the [ ] indicator switches from

ashing to light up.

6. Operate the music playback application of the BLUETOOTH
device such as a smartphone to play the music, and after check-
ing that the sound is output from the wireless speaker without
any problem, disconnect the connection and initialize the wire-
less speaker.
Note 8:
Be sure to initialize the wireless speaker by referring to “INITIAL-
IZATION METHOD” on page 14.
