4-2-2. Aperture Diameter Adjustment

Since the aperture blades remain a little in the optical path when the lens is set to the open F value, the aperture diameter changes when

zoom-operated. Therefore, adjust in the procedure below.

Equipment

• Adhesive bond (B-10)

• Maxium Aperture Jig

• Universal Wrench

• Chip-A for Universal Wrench

• Chip-B for Universal Wrench

1. Preparation

1)

Remove parts indicated in Fig.4-2-8 from the lens unit.

2)

Set the zoom to 80mm.

3)

Install the maximum aperture jig and open the aperture.
