6-2. Network Settings

Equipment required

Personal computer (to be abbreviated as PC hereafter in this manual)

Terminal program (such as Tera Term)

RS-232C straight cable 9 pins - 9 pins (D-sub 9 pins: female)

Connection

Open the door. (Refer to Section 3-2-2.)

Connect the RS-232C straight cable to the connector (for System Control) located on top of the
MAIN POWER switch.

Connect the other end of the RS-232C straight cable to a PC.

Launch the terminal program and select the Serial connection.

Set the serial port as follows.

Baud Rate :

Parity :

none

Stop :

1 bit

Flow control : hardware

Enter “prset”.
The network setting information of the PDJ-A640 is displayed.
