Auto start mode

If you know the source channel start address for writing to sound memory
Using the numeric buttons, enter the required tape address on the LOCATE
TIME display, and press the STORE and MEM REC buttons in that order.
Caution
Using the numeric buttons to set the start address destroys the existing
CTL address relationship between the signal stored in sound memory
and that on the tape.
If you do not know the source channel start address for writing to sound
memory
Run the tape, and press the MEM REC button at the required point.

Begin playback or recording from before the writing source channel start
address.
When the tape address shown on the TAPE TIME display matches the value of
rS shown on the LOCATE TIME display, writing to the sound memory begins
automatically.

To end the writing to sound memory before the sound memory is full, press the
MEM STOP button.
External trigger mode

Press the MEM REC button.

Input the external trigger signal.
When the signal becomes active, triggering the writing to sound memory, the
MEM REC lamp changes from flashing to constantly lit.
