3-8. Setting the hysteresis
The hysteresis can be set using mode switche 2-3 (unit resolution hysteresis switch).
Improvement can sometimes be gained by raising the hysteresis value when the number of
divisions is large with respect to the input signal accuracy or when flickering of the A/B
phase signals occurs due to noise or other adverse conditions.

Hysteresis for 1/number of divisions: Disabled
In the default setting, the hysteresis for 1/number of divisions is OFF.
Note
The return error increases as the hysteresis amount gets larger.
