Viewing audio disc information
During audio playback, you can check the disc
information or display the sleeve image (Album
Artwork Display)* of MP3/WMA/AAC file on
the monitor.
* The recommended size is from 240 × 240 to 960 ×
960 pixels.
E.g., when playing an MP3
A Track number or track name
Disc name/Album name
Artist name
B Format
C Track number/Total
D Playback status ( N , X , etc.)
E Current audio channel
When playing CD/MP3/WMA/AAC, the
audio channel can be changed. For details, see
“Changing the audio channel” on page 23.
F Elapsed playback time
G Current play mode
H Album Artwork Display/Wallpaper
Tip
You can select a track to play using a list (Quick-
BrowZer) (page 29).

Adjusting the sound
characteristics — SOUND
You can adjust the sound characteristics
according to your preference.

During reception/playback, press
(SOUND)
repeatedly until the desired
setting item appears on the main unit.

Press M / m to adjust the level or select
the desired option.

The setting is complete and the display
returns to normal play/reception mode.
With the main unit
Press the control dial instead of (SOUND) , rotate the
control dial instead of pressing

BAL (Balance): Adjusts the sound balance
between the left and right speakers.
FAD
(Fader): Adjusts the relative level between
the front and rear speakers.
SUB * 1 (Subwoofer): Adjusts the subwoofer
volume.
EQ7 : Selects an equalizer curve from 7 music
types:
“XPLOD,” “VOCAL,” “EDGE,” “CRUISE,”
“SPACE,” “GRAVITY,” “CUSTOM,” “OFF.”
CSO * 2 (Center Speaker Organizer): Selects the
virtual center speaker mode: “OFF,” “1,” “2,”
“3” (page 31).
POS (Position): Selects the listening position
(page 31).
POS SUB * 3 (Subwoofer position): Selects the
subwoofer position from your listening position:
“NEAR,” “NORM,” “FAR” (page 32).
RBE (Rear Bass Enhancer): Uses rear speakers
as a subwoofer: “OFF,” “1,” “2,” “3” (page 31).
