Listening to non-preset radio
station

— Manual Tuning

Press FU/– (or FUNCTION on
the unit) repeatedly until “TUNER”
appears in the display.

Press BAND (or TUNER/BAND on the
unit) repeatedly to select “FM” or
“AM”.

Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until
“MANUAL” lights up in the display.

the station you want.

Tips

• You can also use the numeric buttons to select a

preset station. To enter a preset number over 10,
press >10, then press the preset number you want.

• To improve broadcast reception, adjust the supplied

antennas, or connect a commercially available
external antenna.

• When an FM stereo program has static noise, press

FM MODE repeatedly until “MONO” lights up in
the display. There will be no stereo effect, but the
reception will improve.

• To record from the radio programs, see “Recording

to a tape manually” (page 48) or “Timer recording
radio programs” (page 58).
