SECTION 4
ADJUSTMENT
4-1. HV REGULATION ADJUSTMENT
(D Board)
When replacing the following components marked with
]
on the
schematic diagram, always check hold-down voltage and if nec-
essary re-adjust.
[
: RV8002
]
: R8014, R8015, R8017
IC8005
PH8003
T8001(RHT)
HV block, D board
1. Connect a HV static voltmeter to the unconnected plug of the
highvoltage block. (Fig.4-1)
2. Videio input with all white signal.
Set "FULL" mode & "Personal".
Set the PICTURE (max.) and BRIGHTNESS (min.) settings.
3. Power on the set.
4. Confirm that the static voltmeter reading is
31.0
±
0.2 kV.
5. If not, adjust with RV8002 to the specified value.
6. After adjustment, apply sufficient amound of RTV KE490 on
the RV8002. (Fig.4- 2)
Note : This adjustment within 1 minute-3 minutes after
powrering.
4-2. +B MAX VOLTAGE CONFIRMATION
The following adjustments should always be performed
when replacing IC6801, R6809
1. Supply 220V AC to variable autotransformer.
2. Receive dot signal pattern and set the PICTURE and
BRIGHTNESS setting to their minimum.
3. Confirm the voltage of TP+B 135V is less than 137.0 Vdc.
4. If step 3 not satisfied, replace IC6801 and repeat above steps.
4-3. +B OVP CONFIRMATION
1. Supply 220V AC to variable autotransformer.
2. Turn on set.
3. Receive dot signal pattern.
4. Set the PICTURE (minimum) and BRIGHTNESS
(minimum) settings.
5. Turn off set.
6. Separate R6809 (D Board) from +135V.
7. apply external 160V
±
1VDC to open end of R6809.
8. Turn on set.
9. Confirm the LED blin ks 3 items.
10. Turn off the SET.
Then nount the R6809 corrlctly.
