Setting the Shooting Parameter of the Camera (Shooting Parameter Setting Dialog)

Setting Procedures of Shooting 
Parameters

Select 

Shooting parameter setting

 under 

Tool

 on 

the menu bar of the main window and select the 
camera you want to set from 

Panorama camera

, 

Zoom camera, Fixed camera 1

 or 

Fixed camera

.

The shooting parameter setting dialog for the 
selected camera opens.

Select the shooting parameter name from the select 
box at the top.
The contents of the selected shooting parameter are 
displayed.

To create a new shooting parameter name

Click the 

New

 button to display the 

New shooting 

parameter name

 dialog, enter the name and click 

Apply

.

A new shooting parameter is copied from the 
default shooting parameter 

 

day

 or 

 night

.  

The same icon 

 or 

 as that of the original 

shooting parameter is added to the head of the name 
of the new shooting parameter.

To modify the existing shooting parameter 
name

Click the 

Rename

 button to display the 

Modified 

shooting parameter name

 dialog, enter the name 

and click 

Apply

.

Select the tab and modify the shooting parameters.
For details of setting items, see pages 39 to 40.

Click the 

Apply

 button.

The modified settings are stored under the selected 
shooting parameter name.
To close the dialog without saving, click 

Cancel

.

To delete shooting parameters 

Select the shooting parameter name you want to delete 
using procedures 1 and 2 of “Setting Procedures of 
Shooting Parameters” on page 39. Then click the 

Delete

 

button.  When the message “Delete?” appears, click 

OK

. The shooting parameters set under the selected 

name are deleted.

Notes

• You cannot delete shooting parameters contained in 

the shooting parameter sets.

• You cannot delete the default shooting parameters 

 

day

 and 

 night

.

Tip

If the shooting parameter you are deleting is set in a 
shooting parameter set, that shooting parameter set 
name is displayed.

Exposure Tab 

Auto checkbox

Select the checkbox to adjust the exposure 
automatically.
Clear the checkbox to adjust the items on the 

Exposure

 

tab manually.

Exposure compensation

Move the slider to set the exposure compensation value.  
The set compensation value is displayed in the box on 
the left.
