Updating
1. Start the SNC-Z20 Modify Tool. Then, SNC-Z20
Modify Tool is displayed.
2. Click Connect button. Then the following dialog box
is displayed.
3. Select “No”.
4. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification:

“Complete!” should be indicated in
Status column.

Model name should be indicated in
Model column.
.
Model name should be corresponded
with Video Format.

When model name is not corresponded
with Video Format, dialog box appears
on the screen.
In this case, serial number may possible
set incorrectly. Therefore, confirm the
serial number. The following shows
model name to serial number.

SNC-Z20N (UCJ) 100001 and higher
SNC-Z20P (CE) 400001 and higher
5. Check the check marks are located on the RTC,
System and WEB items in Program column.
6. Click Write button.
7. Check the “Complete!” is indicated in Status column.
8. Click END button.
9. Turn off the power of the SNC-Z20N/Z20P and IF-954
board, and then remove the 10 wires connected to the
I/O PORT of SNC-Z20N/Z20P.
10. After returning the DIP switch S602 on the SY-310
board to 0000 (all numeric side), attach the lower
cover of the SNC-Z20N/Z20P.
Confirmation
1. Set the network setting of PC as follows.
IP address:
192.168.0.200
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
2. Turn on the power of SNC-Z20N/Z20P while pressing
the reset button.
3. Start the Web browser on PC.
4. Type the “http://192.168.0.100/systemlog.html” (for
upgrade to ver. 1.09) or “http://192.168.0.100/home/
14/systemlog.html” (for upgrade to ver. 1.10 and later)
in address section of browser, press Enter key.

When user name and password dialog box appears
on the screen, type the “admin” to both dialog
boxes, then click OK button.
5. Check the following.

Software version should be latest updated.
.
The following four-line log should be indicated.
[SYSTEM] System program version has been
updated.
[SYSTEM] Web contents version has been updated.
[SYSTEM] Environmental information is initialized.
[SYSTEM] Restarted.
6. Type the “http://192.168.0.100” in address section of
browser, press Enter key.
The Welcome page is displayed.
7. Click “ActiveX viewer” on the Welcome page to
display the Main Viewer page.
8. Check the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: Normal images that may not occur
noisy such as U-matic beat etc, should
be displayed on the Main Viewer page.

9. Remove the PC card adaptor in which a Memory Stick
is inserted from the PC card slot of SNC-Z20N/Z20P.
