Hardware Connection for NSR-100/50
Connect DL100G2 to LAN port 3 of the NSR-100/50 as shown below.
Use the LAN port 3 for NAS connection only.
Don’t share the NAS with other NSR or other system.

Network switch (hub)
Even if one NAS only is used, it is recommended to connect the NAS to the NSR via a network
switch.
Direct connection with a cross cable may cause network condition unstable. If condition is still
unstable after 10 minutes, reboot the system. If condition is still unstable after rebooting several
times, connect them via a network switch.
Hardware connection for NSR-25
NSR-25 has one LAN port only.
Connect the DL100G2, cameras, and a remote client to LAN 1 port of the NSR via a network switch as
shown below.
Recording/playback performance may go down due to network traffic.
