Uses the AE SHIFT function. The selected
value (-2.0EV for example) appears on the
LCD screen.

B OPTICAL ZOOM ONLY
Uses only optical zoom. You can zoom up
to 12×.
ON[CLEAR IMAGE ZOOM]
You can use the clear image zoom in
addition to the optical zoom.
You can zoom up to 24×, which includes
12× optical zoom.
ON[DIGITAL ZOOM]
You can use the digital zoom in addition to
the optical zoom and clear image zoom.
You can zoom up to 200× but the image
quality deteriorates within the range where
is displayed.

Tips
• Clear image zoom maintains an image quality
that is close to the original.
• The face detection function will not be effective
while using the digital zoom.
You can set the camera shake reduction
when shooting.
B STANDARD ( )
Uses the camera shake reduction when
shooting under relatively stable conditions.
ACTIVE ( )
Uses the camera shake reduction with
more powerful effect.
OFF ( )
Does not use the camera shake reduction.
This setting is recommended when you use
a tripod.

• When [ACTIVE] is selected, the angle of view
shifts 1.08 times toward the telephoto side.
