DEMO RESET
It can release the demo mode.
Procedure:
1. In the demo mode state, touch the two buttons of the [ ] and
[
1
] simultaneously for 5 seconds.
2. The all LEDs are
fl
ash 4 times to release the demo mode.
The all LEDs flash 4 times.
BUILT-IN DEMO
It can playback of built-in demo sound source or USB memory.
Procedure for built-in demo sound:
1. Touch the [
1
] button to turn the power on.
2. Touch the [ ] button for 3 seconds.
Note:
Although it is described as “Press
for 5 sec” on the label af
fi
xed
to the top of the unit, it will mode in with the 3 seconds touch.
3. During built-in demo sound source playback, the LEDs light
up as shown in the following
fi
gure.
The all LEDs flash 2 times.

Releasing method for built-in demo sound:
Touch the [ ] button and return to the normal mode, or the built-
in demo sound source playback is
fi
nished, the demo mode will be
released automatically.
Procedure for USB memory:
1. Connect the USB memory with the music data to the main
unit.
2. Touch the [
1
] button to turn the power on.
3. Touch the [ ] button for 3 seconds.
4. The USB function is selected, and the music data in the USB
memory is playback automatically.
Note:
Because it is a normal USB function, there is no operation for re-
lease of this mode.
COPY BUILT-IN DEMO CONTENTS
It can overwrite the content to be playback with built-in demo
sound source from the USB memory.
Procedure:
1. Connect the USB memory that stores the music data to be writ-
ten to the main unit.
Note 1:
Store the music data to be written in the “SONY_COPY_DEMO”
folder directly under root of the USB memory.
Note 2:
Copying can not be done when the music
fi
le size is larger than 90
MB.
2. Touch the [
1
] button to turn the power on.
3. Touch the three buttons of the [ ], [+] and [–] simultaneously
for 10 seconds.
4. When copying is started, the LED
fl
ashes as shown in the fol-
lowing
fi
gure.

Note 3:
If an error occurs during copying, the LED

ashes as shown in the

fi
gure.
The all LEDs flash quickly 4 times.
5. When copying is completed, the LED display return to the nor-
mal state.
