HDD TITLE UPDATE TEST MODE
The title updater version display and title updater update can be
executed in this mode.
Enter The HDD Title Update Test Mode
Procedure:
1. In the standby status, press the [
?/1
] button to turn the power
on.
2. Press three buttons of [
l m
TUNE -], [
,
] and [
Z
] si-
multaneously.
3. When the HDD title updater test mode is activated.
1. Title Updater Version Display
The version of title updater built into HDD is displayed.
Procedure:
1. Enter the HDD title updater test mode.
2. Press
the [
M
] [
m
] button to select the “Version”, and press the
[ENTER] button.
3. The version of title updater is displayed on the fl uorescent in-
dicator tube.
2. Title Updater Update
The version of title updater built into HDD is displayed.
Procedure:
1. Connect the USB memory where “TitleUpdater.exe” is record-
ed to the set.
2. Enter the HDD title updater test mode.
3. Press the [
M
] [
m
] button to select the “Update”, and press the
[ENTER] button.
4. The “TitleUpdater.exe” is copied from the USB memory to
HDD.
Note:
In the following cases, the update cannot be executed.
• The USB memory is not connected.
• “TitleUpdater.exe" doesn't exist in the USB memory.
• “TitleUpdater.exe" in the USB memory is a version
that is older than it in HDD.
HDD FACTORY SHIPMENT TEST MODE
The user use areas in HDD are initialized, and the cold reset is
executed.
Note: When this mode is executed, all the MUSIC data including the
DEMO tune in HDD is deleted (The SYSTEM fi le is not deleted).
Execute this mode after it notes it enough when executing it because
all the MUSIC data and CDDB updates that the user recorded are
deleted.
Procedure:
1. In the standby status, press the [
?/1
] button to turn the power
on.
2. Press three buttons of [
x
], [BACK] and [HDD REC] simulta-
neously.
3. Press the [
M
] [
m
] button to select the “OK?”, and press the
[ENTER] button.
4. All folder/ fi le in the following folders in HDD is deleted.
• ROOT\SYSTEM\CCUDB
• ROOT\MUSIC
5. After initialization ends, the cold reset is executed.
