3-2-3. Pan Motor Control Circuit
A pan PWM pulse is input to a polarity selector (IC1110) and inverter (IC1108). The PWM pulse
inverted using an inverter is also input to IC1110. In IC1110, the polarity of coil is determined by select
signals (PAN POL U, V, and W). The output signals are input to a phase selector (IC1109). In IC1109,
the phase used is selected using select signals (PAN PHASE U, V, and W). The output signals, and PAN
PHASE U, V, and W signals are input to the control signal input pin of a microcomputer driver (IC1112
and IC1113) to control the motor.
3-2-4. MR Amplification Circuit
The MR sensor output signal from a motor is amplified using an operational amplifier (IC1115) and sent
through a buffer (IC1120) to a microcomputer (IC1101).
3-2-5. Pan Position Detection Circuit
When the pan position reaches the end point, a photo-interrupter signal is input from CN1104 and sent to
pins 99 and 101 of a microcomputer (IC1101).
3-2-6. Remote Control Reception Circuit
The remote control signal received using an IR receiver (IC1123 and IC1124) is input through a buffer
(IC1111) to pins 43 and 44 of a microcomputer (IC1101). For the select signals at pins 48 and 49 of the
microcomputer (IC1101), it is selected which receiver input to output to the outside using D1116, D1118,
and D1119. The selected signals are passed through a buffer (IC1114) and sent through a switcher
(S1101) to the IF-834 board.
3-2-7. RS-232C Communication Driver
A microcomputer (IC1101) performs RS-232C communication with the outside at pins 39, 54, and 56.
The input/output signal from the microcomputer (IC1101) is level-converted using an RS-232C driver
(IC1117) and input and output to the outside. The TXD signal output from pin 54 of the microcomputer
(IC1101) is input through a buffer (Q1120 and Q1121) to a driver IC and switch (IC1116). The TXD
signal from the microcomputer and the RXD OUT signal of a daisy chain connected camera are input to
IC1116. When the camera connected in a daisy chain exists, the RXD OUT signal is sent to a driver IC.
When no camera connected in daisy chain exists, the TXD signal is sent to a driver IC. These signals are
output through a driver to the outside as a TXD IN signal.
3-2-8. Camera Block Communication
A microcomputer (IC1101) performs internal communication with a camera block microcomputer at pins
31, 53, 55, and 57 so as to set the camera state. The microcomputer exchanges an image mute signal at
pin 36, a wakeup signal at pin 35, and a reset signal at pin 37.
