Flange Back Adjustment
(Using the mini-pattern box)
The inner focus lens flange back adjustment is carried out auto-
matically. If disordered, the focus will be deviated during auto/
manual focusing.

Siemens star chart used is a darker one.
Switch setting:
NIGHT SHOT switch ........................................................... OFF
Preparation:
Install the mini-pattern box as shown below.
Note:
The attachment lens is not used.

Adjusting method:
1) Install the camera so that the distance between its lens surface
and mini-pattern box is less than 3 cm.
2) Align both heights of camera and mini-pattern box.
3) Make sure that the output voltage of regulated power supply is
11.29 ± 0.01Vdc.
4) Confirm that the center of Siemens star chart meets the center
of shot image screen with the zoom lens at TELE end and
WIDE end respectively.
5) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
6) Confirm that the data on page: F, addresses: 3E to 42, 76 to 7B
are initial values. (see table below)
7) Select page: 2, address: 02, and confirm that the data is “00”.
8) Select page: 2, address: 01, set data: 13, and press the PAUSE
button on the adjusting remote commander.
9) Select page: 2, address: 01, set data: 27, and press the PAUSE
button.
(The flange back adjustment is carried out, and the data are
automatically entered to page: F, addresses: 3E to 42, 76 to
7B.)
10) Select page: 2, address: 02, and confirm that the data changes
to “01”.
Processing after Completing of Adjustments:
1) Select page: 2, address: 01, set data: 00, and press the PAUSE
button.
2) Perform “Flange Back Check”.
