Soft Brake Torque Check

Removal
1 ) By reforring t o 2- 1 - 1 a n d 2-1 -2. remove cassette arm
assembly and LS cassette compartment assembly.
2.
Checking
1) Turn into
mode.
2)
Mount the tension measuring exclusive reel (Ref.No.J-8) on
the S reel table.
3)
Pull the dial tension gauge (Ref.No.J-6) in the direction of
arrow and confirm that the gauge indicates the specified
value.

Installation
1)
By referring to 2- 1 - 1 and 2- 1 -2, install cassette arm
assembly and LS cassette compartment assembly.

FWD/RVS Torque Check
1) Set the FWD and RVS take up torque cassette (Ref.No. J-9).
2) Turn into
mode. and confirm torque value at the T
reel side becomes 1 2 gem to 20 gem.

(In this state. it becomes into
mode when the REC
SW is turned ON.)

In the state mentioned in

confirm that the torque at S
reel becomes 9 gem to 2 1 gem by turning into REC mode.
