1-4. Removing and Installing the DCP Board Assembly

Slant the DCP board assembly to the front and remove
it.
Reinstallation
1.
Reinstall the DCP board assembly by reversing the
steps 4 to 9 of removal.

Route the harnesses coming from the connectors
(CN1, CN3 and CN4) of the VA-228 board so that
they do not jump out of the surface (the surface
shown by the arrow) on the VA-228 board.

Route the harnesses so that it is positioned in the
recessed portion of the DCP-38 board.

Continue reinstallation of the DCP board assembly by
reversing the steps 2 to 3 of removal.

When installing the filter cover, route the harness
(MA) connected from the CN-2437 board to the SE-
803 board so that it passes near the screw that
secures the upper end of the DCP-38 board. At that
time, ensure that the harness (MA) passes between
the guides at the upper right and left of the filter
cover.

After the CN-2437 board is reinstalled, rotate the
filter knob in both directions to confirm that it is not
caught by the harness (MA).

Be careful that the harness must not be pitched
between the inside panel and the chassis.
3.
Close the inside panel. (Refer to Section 1-3.)
