Installing the Rack Mount
Kit
Separate the rails from the tray, and remove the slide rail
brackets. Mount the Auto Changer after placing the slide
rail brackets, the rail guides, and the tray to the rack using
the screws you provided.
Preparation

Divide the rail into the inner and outer rail.
The inner rail places to the tray and the outer rail
places to the guide.

Slide the outer rail to the position show in the
figure.
Stop at the lever position.

Slide the lever in the direction of the arrow and pull
out the outer rail.

Divide the other rail into the inner and outer rail in
the same way.

Remove the slide rail brackets.
The slide rail brackets are placed to the each rail by
the four screws.
Assemble the Slide Rail Brackets
Marking the position where you will place the brackets
with a felt pen is recommended.
Caution
Note that installing the Auto Changer without matching
the height of the four slide rail brackets may cause an
operation failure.

Feed the nuts you provided, and fasten them to the
square holes of the frame within 1 U range.
Note
You can skip these steps if the rack comes with the
nuts or the holes of the frames have been tapped.
Feed and fasten nuts to the front and the rear of the
racks as shown in the following figure:

To the left and right side square holes of the front
frame, feed the two nuts each from the out side
track of the frames, then fasten. To the front side
square holes, feed the one nut each from the inside
track of the frames, then fasten.

To the left and right side square holes of the rear
frame, feed the two nuts each from the out side
track of the frames, then fasten.

Place the slide rail brackets to the front and rear of the
rack.
Use the upper and lower long holes to place the
brackets as shown in the figure next page and tighten
the screws you provided while ensuring the brackets
are straight.
Align the holes so as the front brackets are placed as
far forward as possible and the rear brackets are
placed as far back as possible.

Remove the eight screws in total from the
brackets and set the screws aside to use them
to fasten the rail guides in the later step.

Feed the nuts through the out
side track of the frames to the
left and right side square holes.
Feed the nuts through the inside track of
the frames to the front side square holes.
