Flex

Removal

Carefully detach the ESD Cushion from the PCB by
wedging up on the edge shown using round tipped
tweezers.

OTE

THE

ESD

CUSHION ADHESIVE MAY TEAR OFF IF NOT

REMOVED PROPERLY

Remove the ESD cushion.

Using the round tipped tweezers, release the side key
portion of the SIM/M2 flex from its positioning latch and lift it
from the lower front cover.

Rotate the SIM/M2 flex up from the circuit board as shown
to expose the flex connector.
