Send short message
Alpha Identifier text is displayed, if it is present.
Otherwise, there is no user indication if the cus-
tomization for default text is not enabled. If the cus-
tomization for default text is enabled, and there is
no Alpha Identifier, default message “Sending mes-
sage" is displayed. Default responses are “Mes-
sage failed” or “Message sent” for the
customization enabled case with no Alpha Identi-
fier.
Key responses:
• End or Back key - ends the proactive session
Set up call
If the user is on a call when the “Set up call, putting
all other calls on hold” command is sent, the user
will see the text, “Let SIM card setup call.” The user
can press OK for the current call to be put on hold
and the new call to be set up.
If the user is on a call when the “Set up call, dis-
connecting all other calls” command is sent, the
user will see the text, “Let SIM card set call.” The
user can press OK for the current call to be discon-
nected and the new call to be set up.
Set up menu
Incorporates a SIM Application Toolkit menu item
into the ME’s main menu structure.
If an Alpha Identifier is supplied in the Set Up Menu
command, this is used as the SIM AT entry in the
ME’s main menu. If null alpha identifier is supplied
and several items are found in the menu, the
default title “ONLINE SERVICES” is used. If the
SIM AT Menu Item is selected by pressing “Select”,
all the items sent in the Set Up Menu command will
be available for selection, in the same way as the
Select Item command.
