Service Instructions
In order to keep your Sonoma Breeze
®
functioning perfectly it is
essential to replace the filters and UV lights when they begin to
deteriorate. We have created a schedule table located at the
back of this user manual to help you keep track of your
replacement schedule. How quickly each part deteriorates is
dependent on the air pollution as well as the usage. We suggest
that you replace the Macro-Particulate filter every 3-4 months,
the Germicidal UV lights and the PCO-Purifier Cores once every
year.
Replacing the Filters
To replace the Macro-Particulate Filter:
Turn off and unplug the Sonoma Breeze
®
unit.
Pull the magnetically retained front cover plate away
from the unit in order to expose the Macro-Particulate
Filter.
The filter is held into place by two Velcro strips. With
your fingers on the inside edge of the filter, pull away
from the plastic face plate.
Remove the Macro-Particulate Filter and discard.
Push a new Macro-Particulate Filter onto the cover
plate, ensuring that the activated carbon is facing you
and the white filter is facing the cover plate.
Replace the magnetically retained cover plate on the
magnetic hinges.
Replacing the Germicidal UV lights
The PCO-Purifier Cores and the Germicidal UV lights should be
replaced at the same time as they both have approximately the
same rate of deterioration.
Turn off and unplug the Sonoma Breeze
®
unit.
Unscrew the screws on the side access panel door and
pull the door out and up to remove it from the body of
the unit.
