Make sure that the plug/drain valve is closed
before filling the whirlpool tub with water.
WARNING!
Always fill the whirlpool tub with
water BEFORE you heat the oven. The minimum
water level must be 50 mm above the upper
flange of the heater.
Heating the whirlpool tub with too little water will cause the stove to melt. If the whirlpool tub is not
used in winter, drain the water from the whirlpool tub and the stove. Always leave the drain valve
open. Do not allow the water in a whirlpool tub to freeze, as frozen water damages the fibreglass tub
and the oven. If the drain valve is still frozen, disconnect the heater from the hot tub and drain the
water through the lower pipe of the heater.
If your hot tub does not have a drain valve, you
only need to pull the plug (1) to drain the water
from the hot tub.
If there is a drain valve, first pull out the plug
(1) at the bottom of the tub and then open the
drain valve (2).
There is a drain for the water on the back wall of
the aluminium oven.
New wooden hot tubs can leak when they are first filled. Do not worry about this. The wood needs to
soak and swell. As soon as the hot tub absorbs enough moisture, it will stop leaking. If the hot tub
still leaks, you need to check if there are any large knotholes in the boards. Knots must be treated
with sealant. Let the hot tub dry for a while and then treat the knots with the sealer/sealant for
wood. Also make sure that the stainless steel straps are tight enough and that all planks of the hot
tub fit together firmly. If necessary, loosen the tension bands and hit the planks with a rubber mallet
