03 - INSTALLATION
WARNING! This hot tub is intended for outdoor use.
The hot tub may only be used for private purposes.
First it is necessary to prepare the floor for the hot tub. Make sure that the surface is level and
straight (horizontal). The hot tub can be placed on a base of paving stones, concrete, wooden beams
or concrete blocks. The surface under the hot tub must be able to support the weight of several
tonnes. It is not recommended to place the hot tub on grass
as this can cause wood rot. Most Sun King hot tubs are deli-
vered packed on a pallet. Carefully unpack the hot tub and
turn it over. Once you have put the hot tub in its permanent
place, check the tension of the stainless steel bands and
tighten them if necessary. The bands must be tightened in a
specific order: first at the bottom, then at the top.
Important! Pay attention to the tension of the stainless steel bands. If necessary, the bands
should be tightened or loosened.
Also make sure that there is no vegetation around the hot tub, as this can lead to mould. There is a
gap between the bottom of the hot tub and the floor. This gap must always be free so as not to hinder
the circulation of air and to prevent the bottom from rotting.
Be careful when installing the pipework as the
edges of the pipes are very sharp.
It is easy to install a whirlpool tub yourself as
you receive it pre-assembled. Simply fit the out-
door heater with the rubber hoses and install a
pipe. To fit the hoses to the stove, pull them
tightly onto the stove flanges so that the hoses
cover the flanges by about 4 cm. To achieve a
tighter fit, soap the hoses from the inside. When
the hoses are properly placed, secure them with
clamps.
