SoundGate 2 Wireless Range
External audio device SoundGate 2 (Bluetooth

The SoundGate 2 has a built-in Bluetooth
®
receiver,
which is used to receive audio signals from external
communication devices that also use Bluetooth
®
.
Mobile phones, wireless headsets and laptop
computers are all among the devices you may wish
to stream audio from. See pages 28 to 30 of this
manual for step-by-step instructions to pair your
SoundGate 2 to a specific Bluetooth
®
-enabled device.
In order to pair to or stream audio information
from an external Bluetooth
®
-enabled device, it is
recommended to keep your SoundGate 2 within
a range of approximately 33 feet (10 meters). This
range may be affected by objects between the
SoundGate 2 and the connected Bluetooth
®
source.
This range may also be affected by the quality
of the other device’s antenna.
