Firmware
This is the firmware version installed in the Transponder. Firmware
upgrades can be installed via WSM Terminal.
Tx Firmware
This is the transmission signal synthesiser.
Depth Status
This can be

have 2 reply signals from the WSM, with the time between them being
proportional to the depth sensor reading.
Serial Number
This is the unique factory serial number allocated to the Transponder
and should be referred to in any communications with Sonardyne
regarding the unit.
Type Number
This is the Sonardyne drawing number. The build state is indicated by
the last letter and digit.
Interrogate and Reply
Dependent on the Nav Scheme and Reply Type currently selected and
may not be displayed.
Address
This is the acoustic command address used to control the WSM.
NOTE
It is important the command address is unique to the beacon
and does not conflict with other Sonardyne beacons operating in
the vicinity.
Nav Scheme
Reply Type
The WSM6 is compatible with Sonardyne Wideband® 1 and
Wideband® 2, Sonardyne Tone and Simrad HPR systems, but only
one can be selected at any one time.
