accessory
The animal repellent stake provides effective protection against the
unwished dogs, cats, foxes, martens and small rodents. Thanks to the
built-in PIR sensor, the product detects motion during the day and emi-
ts repelling, high-frequency sound signal, which is complemented by
flashing light at night. Thanks to the built-in solar panel and replaceable
batteries, the product can be placed anywhere, using it is careless.
INSTALLATION, OPERATION, PLACEMENT
Unpack the device and make sure that the product has not been da-
maged during transport. Release the latch (5.) and open the cover of the
device. You can install the device by sliding the ON/OFF switch (6.) to ON
position. You can adjust the sensitivity of the PIR sensor (7.). The evalua-
tion range is 120 °, with a maximum distance of 8 meters. With a shorter
evaluation distance, the sensor is more sensitive. Use the frequency
range adjuster (8.) to select the frequency of the alarm tone. The alarm
sound is 20 – 55 kHz in position I., it is between 13 – 60 kHz in position
II. The light signal automatically turns on after dark, at every alarm time.
After switching the device on, fold back the cover and push the product
until it clicks.
Insert the shaft (10.) and the stake (11.) on the bottom of the appliance.
Insert the tip into the ground, then attach the support rod to the lamp
head. Do not strike to the ground with a hammer, as this may cause injury
and make it difficult to assemble due to the deformed part.
Carry out the assembly carefully by hand; do not use hammers, pliers,
or other tools that can easily break parts. The batteries must be pushed
together as far as they go. Finally, check the assembly and fastening.
In order for the battery to be charged as much as possible – to provide as
much voltage as possible for operation during the night - , it is necessary
to place it in a shade-free, sunny place. The longer it is exposed to direct,
scorching sunlight, the longer it will operate.
If the battery voltage drops, the LEDs on the device flash every 5 se-
conds. Place the device in direct sunlight or charge the batteries.
If you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time (e.g. in winter),
switch if off and store it at a temperature above freezing point, after care-
fully cleaning the cover.
WARNINGS
• Make sure that the product has not been damaged during transport!
• Do not apply strong pressure to the luminaire during assembly and
installation!
• Clean the cover – especially the solar panel – regularly, taking care not
to scratch it with harsh cleaners.
• Batteries may only be replaced by an adult!
• When replacing the batteries, make sure the polarity is correct.
• Do not use batteries of different types and/or charging status.
• Do not open up the batteries, do not throw them into fire or short-circuit
them.
• Inserting a battery with a higher capacity than specified does not result
in a longer operating time!
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged. Risk of explosion!
• At temperatures around freezing point, the cooled battery does not
supply enough voltage for proper operation.
• It is recommended to disassemble, clean and store the appliance in a
frost-free place before winter.
