Warnings
• Before use – if necessary – contact a specialist, not to damage the device, or the connected devices!
•
Check, that the direct current at your disposal is really 12 Volt, and that the device you wish to connect needs 230 Volt alternating current!
•
More than one mains device can be operated with a mains distributor connected to the inverter. For preventing overload, do not overstep the specified
maximum load. Check this on the data tables of the devices!
•
Check that the 12 V power supply is connected with the right polarity!
•
The connectors should be stable and short circuit free.
•
No foreign object can go into the cooling ventilator!
•
Do not cover the device, at placement ensure the air can flow freely!
•
Leave behind the ventilator a 20 cm space, for it to work efficiently!
•
It can lead to the malfunction of the voltage converter, if it is shut down while the connected device is operational.
•
It can lead to the malfunction of the voltage converter, if before turning it on the connected device is already turned on.
•
If not in use turn it off, and remove the inverter from the circuit! Do not leave it connected to the vehicles circuit!
•
Especially when in use for an extended period, or when the connected devices power consumption is high, it is advised to occasionally turn on the vehicles engine, in order to prevent
the depletion of its secondary battery.
•
Before starting the engine turn the device
off
, then the inverter off, and disconnect it from the vehicles electrical system!
•
If charging the secondary battery, the voltage converter should not be connected to the vehicle, or its secondary battery! If it happens, it is prohibited to disconnect the inverter from the
charged secondary battery!
•
Never connect the inverters access to a secondary battery charger!
• Do not operate it without supervision, and keep it away from children!
•
When leading the connection cables make sure that their insulation does not get damaged!
• Apply and keep the usual safety precautions, the output voltage of the unit may cause an electric shock!
•
In case of disorder immediately power off the device, and contact a specialist!
•
Protect from dust, humidity, liquids, heat, moisture, frost and shock, as well as from direct heat and sun shine!
•
It is prohibited to dismantle or modify the device! Because of the presence of mains voltage the standard life protection rules apply! It is prohibited to to touch the device or its connection
cable with moist hands!
•
If the power cord is damaged immediately power off the device!
•
In a warm environment, the automatics can shut down more frequently even with a lower load!
•
Can only be operated under dry circumstances!
•
Not adhering to the warnings, or improper usage can lead to the malfunction of the device, and the loss of warranty rights!
•
Due to continued development the mechanical data and design can change without prior notice.
•
We do not take responsibility for any possible printing errors, and are sorry if it happens.
Providing protective grounding
Before using the inverter
,
protective grounding needs to be provided, like in households.
In case of stationary usage:
On the backside of the device the black marked connector ( - ) is connected with the case, the protective contact of the mains socket, and the required points of the printed circuit.
Normally one screw needs to be grounded with the method of connecting it to a metal rod with good contact stabbed 1,2 meter deep into the ground.
In case of using it in the vehicle:
The grounding needs to be connected to the negative bodywork of the vehicle. (Only if the vehicle has a negative bodywork) If the vehicle has positive bodywork, then the positive (red)
pole needs to be connected. If the operated mains device is not located inside the vehicle then the aforementioned grounding rod needs to be used. On a ship, it needs to be connected to
the grounding cable of the electric circuits located in it (e.g.: engine).
