THE MAXIMAL VOLUME
Every speaker must be eased into working before proper usage. In the first 30-50 operation hours it should only run at 50% capacity!
At higher volume levels – in some cases – there may be distorted, low-quality sound. This can be caused by the too large input signal. To avoid this,
reduce the signal level of the particular external equipment or if necessary the main volume (
VOLUME
). The system’s maximum volume is that which
can still hear without distortions.

By further increasing the volume, there is no increase in output power, or even the distortion of the system increases! This is harmful to the
loudspeaker and may cause malfunction!
●
If you are connecting a microphone, place it as far away from the audio box as possible to eliminate the noise! Do not point the sound box towards
the microphone, because the noise damages the loudspeakers! When using a microphone, gently increase the volume and, if you experience
noise, immediately turn the control back and replace the sound box into another position if necessary.
TONE CONTROL, VOICE ANNOUNCEMENT FUNCTION
The tone may be adjusted individually in many ways on the control panel of the sound box and on the remote control. Note that different signal sources
often require different settings, otherwise the sound quality may decline.
Caution! Briefly press the
MEGABASS
button to turn extra bass or press and hold it to turn English voice announcement on or off. When switched, the
display shows V ON or V OFF.

Certain functions of the
MENU
button are available with external microphone(s) connected only. Messages on the display that you can set using the
knob:
CV
– MIC VOLUME / microphone volume control

TE
– TREBLE / treble control

– BASS / bass control

WIRELESS BT CONNECTION
Within a maximum range of 10 meters, the unit can be paired with other equipment communicating according to the BT protocol. After pairing, you can
listen to music played on your mobile phone, tablet, notebook or other similar device. Select the
BT
function by briefly pressing the
MODE/POWER
button, the text
BLUE
will appear on the display. Place the device to be paired in the vicinity of the unit, and find nearby wireless BT devices, including
this sound box, as described in its operating manual. Connect the two devices. After successful connection, the BT symbol will stop flashing and start to
illuminate continuously at the bottom of the display. Then you can listen to the desired program via the speakers. The player application on the playback
device (e.g., a mobile phone) can usually be controlled remotely using the buttons
/
/
on the control panel.

One speaker can be paired with one BT device at a time.
●
If the wireless connection is lost, if necessary, press the MODE/POWER button until the BT function is accessed again, and the pairing mode is
reactivated.

If you receive a phone call to the connected mobile phone while listening to music, the music will pause. If needed, resume playback on your phone
after the call.
●
In certain cases, the BT functionality may be limited due to the individual features of the external device.
●
The actual range depends on the other device and the environmental conditions (e.g., walls, human bodies, other electrical appliances, motion…)
●
Electrical devices operated nearby may cause abnormal operation or noise; this does not indicate a malfunction of the sound box!
●
If you listen to the product while charging, the speakers may occasionally pick up mains hum.
●
Abnormal operation may be caused by the individual characteristics of the external device; this is not a sign of product malfunction. In certain cases,
the BT functionality may be limited, depending on the external device.
MP3 PLAYBACK FROM USB/SD STORAGE MEDIA
The player is ready to play when the device is switched on. Carefully insert the USB or SD memory and the device will automatically switch to MP3
playback mode and start playing. The display shows the text USB or SD, the time elapsed from the current track or the track number when scrolling. To
start playback, press the
button, but playback will also start automatically when the external device is inserted. You can also use the same button
to pause playback (
PAUSE
) or to select the desired programme using the step buttons
. Pressing and holding the latter allows fast scanning.
Some extra functions can only be activated when the MP3 player is switched on. Use the
REPEAT
button on the remote controller to repeat the current
song (
ONE
) or all songs (
ALL
).

The recommended file system for the memory is FAT32. Do not use an NTFS formatted memory card.

If the product gives no sound or does not recognise the USB/SD device, remove and reinsert the memory unit and select it again with the MODE
button. If necessary, turn the power off and on again.

Before removing the external memory unit, always switch to another source with the MODE button or turn off the player. Otherwise, the data may
be corrupted. Do not remove the connected external unit during playback!

The USB/SD device can only be inserted in one way. If it stops, turn it over and try again; do not force it. Do not touch the contacts with your hand.
●
Be careful not to damage the devices protruding from the product.
●
Abnormal operation may be caused by the individual characteristics of the storage device; this is not a sign of product malfunction.
●
Do not charge any device (e.g., mobile phone) from the USB socket!
