Error Possible
reason
Solution
QUISI

is
constantly
beeping (in
30 sec
epochs).
•
The one-way electrode is
loose or has removed from
the forehead.
•
The active electrode is not
correctly fastened on the
one-way electrodes or they
have themselves removed.
•
There are electrical
devices nearby (50Hz
effect)
•
High muscle tension of the
patient.
•
The active electrode
connector is defect.
•
Clean the forehead
with soap and
attach new electrodes
correctly.
•
Check the correct seat of the push-
buttons of the active electrode.
•
Switch off radio clock, TV etc. and
remove the plug from the power
socket.
The distance from QUISI to electrical
devices should be at least 2 meters.
•
Lie down with closed eyes and relax.
•
Replace the active electrode
connector.
No data
transfer from
QUISI
®
to
PC.
•
No connection between
the recorder and the PC.
•
Wrong
serial interface
on
the PC chosen.
•
Serial port is occupied by
another hard- or software
application.

Check the connections
of the fiber
optical adaptor and check the cable.

Change the
serial port
from COM 2 to
COM 1 or vice versa using the
‘Options’ menu.
