Starter

Replace faulty starters immediately.
You can recognise a faulty starter by the blackened ends of the UV low
pressure lamps or when the UV low pressure lamps can no longer be started.
Operating a UV low pressure lamp with a faulty starter significantly shortens
its service life. The UV low pressure lamp loses power and may begin to
flicker under certain circumstances.
The starters are located in either one of the two lamp sockets or are visible
when the UV low pressure lamps are removed. Turn 90° and carefully remove
from the socket.
