VACUUMING AND SEALING A BAG AUTOMATICALLY:
FUNCTION VACUUM & SEAL (C)
1. Place the fresh food into the bag. Please use the
original Solis vacuum bags or vacuum foil exclusively
to avoid damage to the appliance and to ensure best
results.
For item-numbers and descriptions, please read the
enclosed order form. You can purchase accessories
for your vacuum sealer in good stores or you get
them from Solis. You can find the contact addresses
at the end of this manual.
2. Clean the inside and outside of the open bag end and
wipe out the creases. The end has to be free of dust
and without creases.
3. Check the settings of the
Vacuum, Food
and
Weld
button according to the control lights. With
Vac-
uum
, you can set the speed at which the vacuum
is formed. If you want the vacuum pressure to be
formed at normal speed, choose the
Normal
set-
ting. If the foods are pressure-sensitive, you can
choose to have the vacuum pressure formed slowly
(choose
Gentle
setting). With
Food
, you can choose
between
Dry
and
Moist
, depending on whether the
food is dry (choose
Dry
setting) or has some moisture
(choose
Moist
setting). With
Weld
, you can choose
between a
Single
weld or a
Double
weld. The stand-
ard settings are
Gentle, Dry
and
Single
(see
Fig. 5
)
.
4. Now, touch the
Vacuum & Seal (C)
button.
5. Place the open end of the bag in the vacuum bay.
Caution:
The end of the bag has to be pushed all
the way into the bay
(see
Fig.6
)

6. To start the desired function, the start lever has to
be briefly pushed down first. Only this will activate
the selected function and lock the vacuum chamber
(see
Fig. 7
)

WELDING A BAG FROM VACUUM FILM:
MANUAL SEAL FUNCTION (E)
1. Cut a suitable bag length from the film
(see
Fig. 1
).
2. If required, use the double seal by touching the
Weld
button, so that the
Double
control light lights up
(
Single
is the standard setting for a single weld).
3. Touch the
Manual Seal (E)
button, to choose the
sealing process.
4. Place an open bag end in the vacuum bay. Push the
bag end all the way into the vacuum bay until you
can feel it hit a stop to make sure that the seal is even
(see
Fig. 2
).
5. Briefly push the start lever down to start the sealing
process. The blue button surround next to
Manual
Seal
lights up. The progress indicator
(D)
indicates the
welding status
(see
Fig. 3
)
. Once the sealing process is
finished, the button surround and the progress indica-
tor go out and a signal sound. Remove the bag with
the sealed end.
6. Make sure that the weld is straight and without
creases
(see
Fig. 4
). Should this not be the case, cut
the weld off and repeat the process.
