FIXTURE OPERATION
This section explains the fixture settings and utilities that the user has access to when us
-
ing the control panel. The SOLARIS® HITMAN230™ can function in different modes:
DMX 16 CHANNEL MODE.
When operated in DMX 16 channel mode the fixture screen
will show A001 when first accessed. By setting a value different from 001 you can change
the unit’s DMX address according to your lighting setup. Optional DMX address values
are 1 to 512. When you reach the desired value, press the Jog Wheel once to save your
changes. Select “Exit” and press once on the jog wheel to return to main menu.
STANDALONE MODE
by selecting Run Test Interface option in the menu you can turn on
Automatic Run Mode which will cause the fixture to execute its built-in macro effects one
by one. Simply select Run Test interface by using the Jog Wheel to position the selection
marker and press the jog wheel once to enter the sub menu, then scroll down, using the
jog wheel again, until the selection shows “Auto Run” - select this option by clicking the
jog wheel once and select “ON” than press exit to return to the main display screen. by
setting this option to “OFF” the fixture will exit auto run mode and return to DMX control
mode. Select “Exit” and press once on the jog wheel to return to main menu.
SOUND TO LIGHT MODE
by selecting Run Test Interface option in the menu you can
turn on Sound Run Mode which will cause the fixture to execute its built-in macro effects
one by one according to the sound picked-up by the fixture’s built-in microphone. Sim

ply select Run Test interface by using the Jog Wheel to position the selection marker and
press the jog wheel once to enter the sub menu, then scroll down, using the jog wheel
again, until the selection shows “Sound Run” - select this option by clicking the jog wheel
once and select “ON” then press exit to return to the main display screen. by setting this
option to “OFF” the fixture will exit sound run mode and return to DMX control mode.
Select “Exit” and press once on the jog wheel to return to main menu.
THE SETUP INTERFACE
using the setup interface you may change the operation of the
fixture in the following ways:
X Reverse - by setting this option to “ON” the fixture will reverse its pan attributes. by de

fault this setting is set to “OFF”
Y Reverse - by setting this option to “ON” the fixture will reverse its tilt attributes. by de
-
fault this setting is set to “OFF”
Lamp On - by setting this option to “ON” the fixture will turn on the lamp. by setting this
option to “OFF” the fixture will turn-off its lamp. by default this setting is set to “ON”,
