LANDING YOUR KITE
Keep it carefully, folding it with the lines inside, next fold it twice,
many times you need until the last fold takes the shape of the bags
size.
Put the cable commands in the middle of the kite at the end of the
folds, rolling up together.
The best position to land your kite is 90° related to you. The kite
must stay on the ground where does it not exert great forces.
Set free the loop that link the kite to every command cable to avoid
the lines to tress. Next roll up cables in each command, never roll
up both cables next to the commands because they will be twisted.
They must be roll up individually.
PRECAUTIONS WITH THE EQUIPMENT
DURING THE FLIGHT
- Never touch the kite lines during the flight, they ser thin and under
pressure may cause serious physical damages;
- Always check lines before taking-off, they must be between loops
and without knots;
Stay away from a twisted kite or in collapse, you never know when
this uncontrolled kite will land;
- Never allow someone be between the control lines and the kite;
- Never be exposed to too strong winds (more than the advised limit
by the manufacturer) since may cause components rupture;
- Do not make too many maneuvers in constant spin in only one
direction, since when returning the command cables may break. It
is recommended at maximum only three spins in one only direction
and the returning must be slow in order to avoid cable damage;
- Never use your kite in rainy or stormy days.
SAFETY
When things are out of control, the operator may release one of the
commands while holding the other one, making the kite spin quickly
and hold the command until drops to the ground. When the wind is
too strong it may take a bit to land, allow it spin until the wind
pressure diminishes and move back allowing it to land.
