Usually, however, the tests are carried out with test cables. Referencing is then carried
out as explained under Set reference with test cables�
Follow the instructions on the screen to define and save the length of the test cable.
The test cables are only connected to the main device and were previously connected
with a coupler. The open end is not connected to the end device.
Use
Set Reference
to start the determination of the capacity, which will later be
subtracted from the total measured value. The referencing procedure should be repeated
when changing the test cables.
